The name 'Four Angels' Deaf Ministry' is derived from key aspects of our beliefs, as seen in the Bible, Spirit of Prophecy and the position of the Church in line with the angel of Revelation 18:1.
Based on this, our church believes in the message of the fourth angel as an extension of the three angels of Revelation 14. As supported by the
The Spirit of Prophecy writings consistently portray the angel of Revelation 18:1 as a fourth angel's message, complementing the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-9, as seen in Early Writings, 277, and Testimonies, Vol. 6, pp. 60, 406.
Early Writings P. 277, "Then I saw another mighty angel commissioned to descend to the earth, to unite his voice with the third angel, and give power and force to his message. Great power and glory were imparted to the angel, and as he descended, the earth was lightened with his glory."
Testimonies Vol. 6, PP. 60, 406, "In the Revelation John says of the heavenly messenger who unites with the third angel: “I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice.” Revelation 18:1, 2 ... We are to throw aside our narrow, selfish plans, remembering that we have a work of the largest magnitude and highest importance. In doing this work we are sounding the first, second, and third angels' messages, and are thus being prepared for the coming of that other angel from heaven who is to lighten the earth with his glory."
To share the three and four angels' messages to the Deaf with a central object in view of bringing about among God's people that thorough reformation foretold by the Spirit of Prophecy (Testimonies, Vol.8, Page 251)
Our aim is to share with the Deaf the knowledge of the messages contained in the third and fourth angels' messages, such as;
The Sabbath truth
The Sanctuary truth and the Investigative Judgment message, also known as the Judgment of the Dead, which commenced in 1844
The Judgment of the Living and the Health Reform messages, as outlined in the writings of the Spirit of Prophecy.
Our mission includes equipping the Deaf to become disciples and leaders who share Christ's love, fulfilling the gospel commission, and training individuals for Deaf ministry.
